TECHNICAL SCHOOL

Ever since its establishment in the year 1973, CCJ’s Technical School has been preparing its students to meet the requirements of the Lebanese job market. The school grants certificates in the following domains:

1) Advertising

2) Accounting and Computer Science

3) Hotel Management

4) Education

5) Topography

6) Physical Education

The above mentioned fields are accessible to candidates who have successfully completed Grade 9. Technical training for these students extends throughout three years through which students are prepared to sit the Technical Lebanese Baccalaureate Exam, receive the official diploma, and obtain admittance to university.

The efficiency of the Technical School in Central College is substantiated through the high achievements of its students in varied areas of the technical field.

 

  1 - ADVERTISING

Advertising Arts has become an integral part of the requirements of the economic and commercial life.

A group of adept designers capable of enhancing inventiveness and creativity form the staff of trainers at the school.

Studies and training focus on learning different techniques of drawing, painting, graphic arts, poster design, and other advertising materials.

 

 

     

 

  2 - Accounting and Computer Science

Accounting and computing establish the foundation of a good economic and financial operative system.

This branch aims at training future accountants, which then gives them job opportunities at banks, financial institutions, industrial and commercial companies.

Focused largely on accounting, financial mathematics, and the use of computer tools, these studies promote general knowledge and thinking skills related to the field of economics.

The branch provides access to the faculty of Commercial Sciences in USEK. Any candidate seeking this faculty should make sure to have obtained the Technical Baccalaureate and passed the university admittance exam.

 

 3- Hotel Management

Training in hotel management prepares students to access the field of management and hotel management industry. It culminates in an optimal performance in the following areas:

- Gastronomy;

- Production ;

- Marketing Research – Hotel Market;

- Hotel Management.

 

 

4- EDUCATION 

This branch offers pre-requisite prime skills for teaching jobs in the kindergarten and nursery levels. It prepares students to access faculties of Humanities and Pedagogy.

Studies and training in this section focus mainly, but not exclusively, on languages, sociology, computer science, education, pre-school education, child literature, drawing, math, hygiene, and history of education.

 


 

  5- TOPOGRAPHY

Every graduate (TS) who obtains a topography license from our Technical School can also join the Union of Surveyors. It is worth mentioning, though, that BT graduates may also work in this field.

Studies in this field focus mainly, but not exclusively, on the terms of infrastructure, geology and land study, law, land and construction, calculations, architectural drawing, AutoCAD, architectural design, and topographical drawing.

 


6- PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Students can access the faculty of Education for a license in Physical Education.

Studies in this section focus mainly on: human physiology, physical preparation, sports history, collective sport, athletism, dance, gymnastic, swimming, maths...


 The Professional Brevet:

The College has launched new BP1 and BP2 sections for students who have completed grades 7 and 8 and wish to transfer to vocational training.

The program is in consistence with the professional educational guidance policy and aims to assist students specializing in technical training, helping them to access higher education (university education).
